Imaginary

Winding up and cooling down
No way to wear a crown
Sitting in your couch of glory
Hoping for someone else’s story

Turning down your life
Leaving your body all alone
Just because your ex wife
Made you feel like a clown

Stripping of all layers of tape
You’re not broken; I know you’re in shape
If you listen to what I say
You feel better by the end of this day

Don’t be afraid of the imaginary
It might do you some good

Don’t be afraid – it’s revolutionary
You should try it if you could

Looking for all jobs to be done
Why don’t just leave it for some?

Tell your boss he can do on his own
If he wants you, he can come in to town

Turning down your life
Leaving your body all alone
Just because some guy with a knife
Robbed you of your new phone

Stripping of all layers of tape
You’re not broken; I know you’re in shape
If you listen to what I say
You feel better by the end of this day

Don’t be afraid of the imaginary
It might do you some good

Don’t be afraid – it’s revolutionary
You should try it if you could

You have to do it if it’s necessary
Or you turn into wood
Sometimes it’s even evolutionary
That’s when you get understood
